Beautiful! Miss Jasmine- I just got invited to an Indian Wedding. Whats a non-Indian girl to wear? Should I assume it’ll be pretty formal? I know it’ll be a big wedding. Any tips would be great!

Jenniferb: Most Indian weddings are on the formal side, so I would get dressed up and wear something colorful! The only colors I would avoid are white, black, and probably red. But other than that, the more colorful and festive, the better! Have fun and tell me how it goes!
glittergrl: I ordered the dress in the US (in Ca) but it was custom made in India. We’re doing two pre-wedding parties in March and May, the mehndi the day before the wedding, the wedding, and then a second reception called a valima that the groom’s family is hosting. We definitely have our plates full

Miss Jasmine, I am Indian too and have been having a horrible time getting a lengha. Any suggestions as to what shops you went to or where to order from? It’s been so difficult to find something I like!
