About Mrs. Daffodil

Busy Bees!

March 10th, 2008 @ 2:13 pm by Mrs. Daffodil

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve posted… but I have a good reason! It’s been nothing short of busy here in the Daffodil household! We are DIY-ing our invitations, and now that we are nearing the 8-10 week mark, we are rushing to get those together so we can get them out to our guests! Sister Daffodil flew in for her Spring Break especially to help out on them… what fun busy times!

On top of our invitations, we’ve finalized our guest list, gotten our calligraphy done, ordered the groomsmen outfits, booked a DJ, ordered a wedding cake, met with a videographer, and decided on chair covers. Next week is the hair/makeup trial, a meeting with our reception site coordinator… and I’m hoping to find my veil and dye my shoes sometime in between!

Check out Mr. Daffodil and Sister Daffodil in our mass production room, hard at work in our comfiest clothes…

As you can tell, there is much to post about! And I promise that as soon as we get these invites done, I’ll be posting about all the aforementioned.

I must say that with so much going on, it’s hard to catch our breaths sometime! I find that despite the craziness, it’s been helpful to force myself to break away and either squeeze in a 60-minute workout or to read for 20 minutes or so, just to give myself a little rest and and take my mind off of things.

For those of you hitting a crazy busy period, how do you unwind or stay energized?
