About Mrs. Cherry Blossom

After 1.5 months of sleepless nights, a bare minimum of a social life, 6+ hr nonstop shifts a day, getting extremely ill, forgetting meals… about 400 of these puppies sucked the life of its birthing mama, and these babies have left the nest to their new homes …

I hope the little ones, come flying back home to me soon. Do I sound nuts? Well after that many of them, you’d be too.

As much I am happy with them now, I had the most huge HATE.love relationship with the three versions of our invitations. It just sucked the living daylight out of me. But yes, let’s not forget the other piece of hell I can go back to, my votive candles. I have no one to blame but myself.

I am definitely using your votive candle idea, but with 1/8″ dots, using your method too. THANKS so much for the easy, yet time consuming project!! I am very proud of how they came out.

You’ll get through it!

congrats! Are you going to show them off in a future post? Oh btw, I was reading one of your earlier posts and was wondering which veil you purchased from veilshop.com?

@sweetart: The exact veil and description off my receipt is the following: 1003, Diamond White, No Accents, No Blusher

I definitely hope to share some visuals of our invites.

@Priscilla P: Thank you so much Priscilla!

@Shanna: That is so awesome Shanna! You can get through it. I’m ready to gauge out my own eyes.

It must feel good to have them all in a pile together. I kind of hated to hand my STD pile to the nice lady at the post office.

On the subject of your candles - you can buy white and vanilla tealights (at Target and probably other places) that come in clear plastic rather than silver metal. If you did that you might not have to worry as much about the coverage you get from the glitter. And I love your cherry blossom (pink and red) votive holders!

@suzanno: thanks for the suggestion. the glitter is the least of my problem which were done ages ago now. it’s etching each glass that will be SUPER fun to finish =)

@sweetart: HI Sweetart, I want to say about 2.5 to 3 inches long. I can’t get to it bc it’s packed up at the moment. Hope that helps.
