Wish Tree

How great would this be in lieu of a guest book at a bird themed wedding? Or any wedding really! It’s from Room Service Home, and I think it’s so cute!

My cousin did that for her wedding. It worked out great. Here’s a photo if you want to see: http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/82/8/161/n161_32861607_4407.jpg

I just went to a wedding in September and they had one of these trees. I thought it was such a lovely take on a guest book, but also added to the ambiance of the reception. Theirs was on a round table in the cocktail area.

I wish I had pictures, but I didn’t take any. They had cards and pens with instructions that read something like, “Please write a wish for Sean and Shannon”.

I think Style Me Pretty did a special on wish trees a couple weeks ago. I’ll look for the link later today.

I’m using 4 wish trees at my wedding. They’re actually bird ornament trees I purchased on clearance from Urban Outfitters. Hopefully no one will realize they’re meant for Christmas time!

Love the wish tree! I think that I also saw it on offbeat bride - there all of the envelopes were red and they connected it to a Chinese tradition, I believe.
