Exiciting Package!

March 18th, 2008 @ 4:09 pm by Ms. Dahlia

The wedding invitations are out, the shower invitations are out, and we have passed the two month mark. What does that mean?We received our first wedding present in the mail!

I’m not sure why this is so exciting, but there is something extremely fun about getting packages in the mail. Mr. Dahlias’s aunt sent us our very first thing off of our registry:

A sweet down comforter. Which is especially appropriate because it is still cool here in Michigan.

What was the first gift you received off of your registry?

Ahhh! So exciting! We received our very first gift last week! All our flatware from one of my hunny’s clients, very exciting. But seeing as though we’re in Michigan too (traverse city) I would be equally excited about getting cozy bedding!

That’s so exciting! We got the same first gift - ours was the amazing hotel collection down comforter that we registered for.

Yay! Very exciting, eh? Our honeymoon registry was “popped” by an uncle getting us our car rental in Ireland. Beautiful comforter, by the way!

HOw fun! I got my first one and it wasn’t on my registry! A friend of mine and I had a conversation about cooking and I mentioned a traditional dish from my country which requires a pressure cooker. This is months ago! Well what arrived at my front step? You guessed it! I was so trilled, and it will be used for sure and we will invite her over with her boyfriend!
