The First To Arrive!

March 20th, 2008 @ 11:15 am by Mrs. Daffodil

Wheee! We received our first registry gifts! I went to LA this past weekend to do some wedding planning with FMIL, and look what was awaiting us!

I know this probably seems to be a silly post, but it does feel like a little milestone in a way! I dunno, something about the acknowledgement by friends/relatives/our parents’ friends that, wow, we really really ARE about to start a new life together! I feel so touched by their thoughts and generosity (we haven’t even sent out our invitations yet!… yes, I am running behind… yikes!). All this also really makes it so real to me…We’re REALLY getting married SOON!

The big lovely BBB box (we also had a Crate and Barrel one but I forgot to take a pic of it!)

I love to bake and Mr. D can’t survive without a toaster oven…woohoo!

Oh, just wait as it gets closer to the wedding! There was a stretch of time where every time we came home, there were boxes lined up all the way to the front door! I think our UPS/Fed Ex guy was ready for our wedding to be over, but it made be giggle with glee every day to see what goodies would be there.
