About Mrs. Tiramisu

This is all starting to get very. real.

I got this in my mailbox this week… I really had to do a double take when I saw my name there!

A Bridal Shower Honoring... Who? : wedding bridal shower maine Showeri01

(sorry for all the ugly blacking out)

Seriously, I couldn’t be more excited to get married. But wow the time is flying by!

I’ve been to lots of bridal showers, but I just can’t imagine myself up there in the spotlight. My gracious shower hosts are inviting a lot of people (50!) - I hope they all wear nametags! Is anyone else a little nervous for all this attention?

My first shower is the 30th… I’m very excited but I probably will be shy… it feels weird to have a party honoring me. I love birthday parties, until it’s time to blow out the candles on the cake. hehe

I’m the same way (and the same name!)! It sunk in at my cousin’s wedding, as the MOH I had to know everybody and greet them and everything. It was very overwhelming and tiring. At least this time I will be the one getting presents! :)

Grrr. My wedding is in June and my shower isn’t until May 17th!!! I’m so impatient. I want a bridal shower invitation to appear in my mailbox too.

I’m nervous and tend not to like to be the center of attention at that sort of event… and my sister and mother are insistent that the event be a surprise, grrr… but thankfully I have some good friends who have promised to leak the date to me. :-D

I totally feel weird about it! At 30 I am the first one of my friends to get married…so they are graciously pulling out all the stops! So fun, but so overwhelming too!

My shower was last weekend. It was a lot of fun but really strange feeling. It’s been nearly 2 decades since all eyes were on me to open a stack of presents all by myself. I loved the gathering of women who love me but opening all those presents was too much attention right on me.
I hadn’t really been to a traditional bridal shower before, just bachelorette events.

OMG….My shower is also April 12th at Noon. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. It also happens that I have organized to get my trial make-up done the same day. I have no problem being a social butterfly but yeah I am not quite sure about “the all eyes” on the bride thing. But super excited!!!:)
