About Mrs. Cupcake

I posted a while ago about the venue envy I have for my brother’s wedding venue, The Angel Orensanz Foundation in NYC. Wonderful Brother Cupcake and his fabulous wife (who first introduced me to Weddingbee) got married there last June, and it was a spectacular, beautiful day. It perfectly represented this hip, fun-loving couple, and I thought I’d share with you all some great photos from the day, all courtesy of Brian Dorsey Studios. I’m sure you’ll be able to see why I was so envious of their spectacular day!

Brother and Sister-in-law Cupcake's Fabulous Wedding : wedding philadelphia real weddings Park Fu01Right before some rain stopped by, we were able to grab this great shot of the bridal party (Can you find Miss Cupcake? :-) )

Brother and Sister-in-law Cupcake's Fabulous Wedding : wedding philadelphia real weddings Our Cup01Now THAT is a cupcake tower! Each cupcake had its very own bride-and-groom topper, which my sister-in-law hand-painted so they’d have brown hair, like her :-) (And that’s her parents’ cake topper on top, from their wedding 30 years earlier!)

Brother and Sister-in-Law Cupcake (also known as John and Kim) have entered their wedding in The Knot Real Wedding Awards. If you’d like to vote for them, create your profile here and then head on over to their entry page here to vote! The Cupcakes thank you for your support ;-)

Oh my god, that looks just incredible. The candlesticks! I love the candlesticks. Congrats to them. And I’d have venue envy, too!

that venue is so dramatic and jaw dropping. love love love the couple photo display and so cute for them to have included you too. we had grandparents wedding photos framed near our cake table and also showed photos from both our parents weddings in our slideshow — but i love how they displayed them.

i think one of wes jones’s clients (anika and rob) were married in the same place. i watched a sample from their wedding on his website http://www.filmjones.com, which is one of the reasons i hired him (click on the link and it’s the bottom sample). anyway — just beautiful.

OMG, I saw these photos a while back on some wedding planner’s website (name is escaping me right now) and I was drooling over them. And it’s your brother’s wedding! Crazy!! (I am still drooling over them.)

We are making our own cupcakes for our wedding, love the one that you are showing. We just bought the online video from http://www.DIY-WeddingCupCakes.com on how to make cupcakes and I really like the roses.

Fun fun…..

[...] I picked up a pair of 4×6 sign frames from this eBay seller, which Mr. LB then spray painted silver and glued a pair of typewriter keys to. The wording is a reference to what the table will be decorated with (besides the candy itself): framed photos of couples and pairs (friends, pets, etc. being “lovey”). This idea was ripped shamelessly off of Brother Cupcake. [...]
