Notes On A Great Love

March 21st, 2008 @ 12:00 pm by Mrs. Jasmine

What does the hive think of this idea?
This gorgeous white lantern set out with beautiful slips of lacy-edged gold and cream paper. An antique gold frame sits beside it directing guests to pen loving thoughts and wishes for Mr. and Mrs. Jasmine and leave them inside the vase. Later, I could scrapbook the slips of paper into a Kolo album and display the lantern in our apartment. Yay or nay?

It looks like something I’d see at the Taj Mahal (ie, ornate, off-white, and beautiful!), so if you have an Indian theme at your reception, then I say YES!

It’s a good idea only if you don’t have a candle burning inside… :)

I really don’t want to be a wet blanket here because I LOVE the idea and the vase is fabulous, however the cost gives me pause. With the large vase, decorations, pens, paper, and scrapbook this is easily a $200 project. That is kind of a heafty price tag. If you have that kind of wiggle room in your wedding budget, then go for it, otherwise I’d shop around for a different container.

Big Yay!

and as far as it being pricey, this is something that I can see being lovingly cherished in your home forever right? So you can think of it more as “future home decor” rather than “wedding expense” :)

Yeehaw! Pengy rikes.

YAY, YAY and YAY!

It would look gorgeous in your home after the wedding, so if you are okay with the price I wouldn’t feel too guilty about it.

Absolutely YES! I swear, you will find me loitering around your wedding looking innocent. And then you’ll see me rubbing my cheek on the various pretties I find. I’m sorry, I have impulse control issues!
