About Miss Lovebird

Mr. Lovebird came across this website called Bag Borrow or Steal and the moment he told me about it, and realized he was opening Pandora’s Box, he said, “I am going to regret telling you about this aren’t I?”

It’s like Netflix for designer bags and jewelry!!!

Miss Toucan did a post on borrowed jewelry awhile back too, so be sure to check it out for other similar sites.

Here’s how Bag, Borrow or Steal works:

1 borrow
Browse for a handbag or jewelry (or both) that you love, then click “borrow”.

2 enjoy
Keep it as long as you wish. A week! A month!

3 return
Change your look as often as you want. Returns are easy and return shipping is FREE!

Imaging having this Vera Wang ring as your something blue!

Instead of shelling out the thousands to own these pieces, you can rent them for your wedding day for a fraction of the cost.  If you can’t part with them, you can use their “steal it” option and they will work with you so you can keep the item, for a price of course.

Think about the good scare you can give your hubby to be… “Hey honey, look what I got for the wedding… it actually costs more than the wedding itself… but I think it’s worth it…………………………just kidding!!!” ;)

Anyone consider renting accessories for their wedding day?

I totally am already a member and have rented purses from them ! It’s a great service, although not too reliable on if it will be available WHEN you need it, as I had to wait for two months before the Dior handbag I wanted to rent was sent to me.

I introduced my mom to this site a couple months ago. At first she was skeptical, but now she’s a believer.

But tell me this- if you rent something, can it still count for your “something borrowed”?!
