Teach/Coach @ private schools in LA Engagement Date: March 31, 2006 Wedding Date: November 3, 2007 Venue: Radisson Hotel About Me: I'm a bookkeeper who failed high school algebra. I'm currently living in Los Angeles, literally a street over from where I grew up with Mr. Kiwi, my honey of three years. We have a jumbo mini-dachshund (seriously, he's huuuuge), and we're planning an autumn themed wedding on a shoestring, paid for by ourselves. The wedding date is my late grandma's birthday, I needed her there somehow, and that seemed like the best way for us. I can't believe I'm a Bee! I couldn't be more proud!

My Wedding Dressing

March 25th, 2008 @ 5:30 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

I borrowed (stole) this idea from a buddy of mine, Fatafelice. The basic idea is: if your wedding could be summarized into one piece of clothing, what would it be? After much consideration, this is what my wedding would look like, had it been an item of clothing.

Found here, this Mary L Couture dress has all the colors I loved about our wedding. The top part, not so much, but it was near impossible to find what I imagined our wedding to look like: an ivory crocheted shawl with gold threads intermingling throughout the fabric. So, instead, I choose this dress.

Now, it’s your turn, explain to me what your wedding would look like if it was something you could wear!

Ooooh, this is a reverse of what Snippet and Ink is doing…I’m going to have to a good search to find the outfit for mine!

This dress pretty much sums up exactly what I want from my wedding. It would have made a perfect bridesmaid dress but it is gone from the stores, I could only find it at this review site. Colors, attitude, material, it’s perfect.

oh my gosh! After I posted that I clicked over to your friends site and saw that hers is exactly the same! I think I’ll have to get in touch. She has great taste.

My wedding would be a small print red gingham button-down shirt with a short jean skirt and cowboy boots.

Colourful, warm, fun, casual, kinda sexy/romantic…

it would work better if it were a different color like a white or a cream but its that sense of traditional modernity. My dress has the same pleating and empire waist and the swirl design is our wedding theme. Fun but still refined.
