With These Rings

March 26th, 2008 @ 6:50 pm by Mrs. Petunia

Our professional photos are ready to make their appearance (much love to our rock star photographers over at Lux Images for the pics I’ll be posting over the next few days)!First up are our “ring shots” — I didn’t even know these were must-have shots until I started stalking photographers’ blogs myself.

It’s funny to see what ring photos say about a couple, no? Ours seem to say we’re technology-lovin’ game freaks (an accurate representation, I’d say). Props go to my husband for upgrading me to the pink Nintendo DS for the wedding. The man thought I’d like a little Wario Ware Touched action while I got my pretty on, and if so, the DS needed to match our color scheme. Oh yeah, he’s good…

Hi lucy!

We got great deals on both the bands actually. Mr. Petunia’s is a tungsten band bought at Kay’s and we got mine at Mayor’s on major sale. It was a great find, too, because I needed something pretty narrow to go with my e-ring and we looked for a long time. Good luck!

this is beside the point of your post, but we JUST got a pink DS for me for our honeymoon! it was a great investment, and my husband already has one, so we battled during our long layover hours at the airport. :)

I come from a two DS household too. (I have the original white & he got the new red & black one.) The photograph shown on the iphone is so dramatic & beautiful.

I love the DS shot! We still have our old clunky ones (his is silver, mine is blue). I think I need to get a new Lite one before the wedding in our colors, hehe.
