100 Days

So the countdown on my igoogle page has reached 100 days! Oh my gosh~ where did the time go??? I could have sworn that when I set the date, I had 263 days. It seemed like it was light ages away and I had all the time in the world. Now, I feel I have so much to do in so little time!

I guess technically 100 days is still a decent amount of time, but why do I feel so anxious all of a sudden? I’m not worried so much about the marriage part. I’m excited to be finally marrying Mr. Lovebird… we have been together since we were 18. But why is the wedding totally freaking me out? I mean it’s just one day right? Then again, it’s also the day where all eyes will be on us and we are spending tens of thousands of dollars hoping people will have a good time. What if they don’t? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

I need to get my little birdie ass into gear! Thanks for listening… as a treat I present to you a silly picture of Mr. Lovebird “trying” to act sexy on the beach the last time we visited Cancun. Thank god he claims to never come on this site, otherwise I’m sure he would kill me. Isn’t the water gorgeous? 100 days until I see you again…

Did reaching 100 days until the wedding bring a sudden sense of fear/excitement to anyone else? What’s the big deal with 100 anyways?

When I set up my wedding website, I had almost 600 days until the wedding! Now, it’s down to 43 days, and everytime OurWeddingDay sends me an email saying something like “You have 1 month, 1 week and 6 days until your wedding”, it freaks me out a little more.

I don’t think I would ever feel like I had enough time to do everything that I want to do, but the deadline definitely kicks your butt into gear and makes you realize that maybe your invitations don’t need to be redesigned for the fourth time.

I think that, when I hit 100 days, it finally felt like it was just around the corner. I wouldn’t say I freaked out, but I definitely was more excited than I had been in a while. Now we’re at 71 days, and I can’t WAIT!
