Dress Me Up

I can’t say enough how happy I was that I went with my gut feeling and bought a second dress, drama and all. I love that baby. Girls: take your time finding the gown you love! And if you can, choose someone near and dear to help you put it on. It wouldn’t have been the same getting dressed that day without my girl’s help:

Plus, I couldn’t even manage putting on my own earrings, I was such a wreck! Hence the earring down the boobage incident:

All dressed up and ready to party!

One of the best decisions I made, I think, was having all other female members of the bridal party get dressed and made-up down the hall in my MOH’s room. I don’t think I could have handled the craziness of having too many people in the room with me, so I was mostly by myself in my room until it got close to I DO time, when my MOH came in to help. She ran interference up ’til then, because as I had let it be known, I didn’t want to feel like a freak show with a parade of people coming by to see me. I just think I needed that time alone to take it all in and just breathe, you know?

i sooo wanted to do this too (being alone before the being moment) but hotel costs are sooo high bc we are getting married on a big college game day in my city.

i can only afford one suite….but this post seals the deal on the fact that I’m going to reserve the 2 bedroom suit with the french doors that close off the master.

being able to close those doors will save my sanity.
