So now we just have to make it through the craziness of the wedding and the moving in together! I love crafts, sewing, jewelry making, and photography, so am looking forward to this chance for DIY fun. When not wedding planning, I'm playing with our dog and 4 cats, Ebay shopping, or watching too much TV (often simultaneously!).

Hello, all! Sorry it’s been a while — things got unbearably busy in the last weeks before our wedding. But the Tulips are now Mr. and Mrs!
We had a number of wedding-related disasters, including car accidents, nearly-forgotten rings, last-minute venue hijinx, and NO MUSIC for the reception. But it was still an incredibly joyous day. I spent all day with an expression like this:

I had to chuckle, tho, reading about your wedding-related disasters…EVERY SINGLE ONE of those things happened to me and my husband at our wedding!!! Every single one! Car accident (4 days before), forgotten rings, NO MUSIC (ugh) at our reception, venue ridiculousness, and more! There was definitely an increase in the stress levels, but we got married and that’s all that really mattered.

sorry my comment is unrelated to this post but I am curious as to how your ceremony was structured. I googled baha’i ceremony and your post came up and I think I’m in a similar situation
I am a Baha’i marrying a non-Baha’i trying to figure out what to do for our ceremony - would love to hear some ideas on combining the Baha’i thing with the “I do” thing!

THANKS for your lovely comments, everyone! We just finished two 12+-hour days of moving (me into Mr. Tulip’s house) and it was the usual nightmare, so I can’t tell you how much it does a girl good to get home and read your happy remarks.

Hey, I love the dress! I actually have the same wedding dress, and until I just saw your pictures, I thought I had gotten the wrong one! I actually teared up! It is so gorgeous! Can you tell me how you decided on a veil? I am having the hardest time finding on that will look just right!
