Update: the following post was an April Fools joke.
Now that you’ve all seen my dress, it’s time to check out what my bridesmaids will be wearing. This was an easy decision- these gorgeous blue dresses will match our color scheme, flatter all the different body types (my girls range in size from 0 to 8), and also I just LOVE the tied-off flower detail on the hip.
All seven of my bridesmaids love them- do you?

It’s kind of too late for April Fool’s for me but I was absolutely floored when I saw this! I almost felt so bad for the bridesmaid! hahaha

You REALLY got me, and I got VERY nervous. Can’t wait to see what the real dresses look like! It seemed very out of character for someone who has such great taste.
Happy April Fool’s Day! Glad I saw this and remembered what day it was before heading to my job teaching middle school… I think you probably did me a favor because now when the kid try to get me I’ll know!

Oooh, the day isn’t over yet. I am so sending some of my bridesmaids something like this!
In one of the first emails I sent to my BMs, I included pictures of some dresses I told them I was considering having them wear (all were very, very ugly, naturally). My MOH freaked out, thinking I was serious (and wondering what had gone wrong, since I was normally very fashionable), and was ready to come smother me to death with a wedding gown. lol =)
Since I’m letting them all wear a black dress of their choosing, I figure I was entitled to at least a little dress torture.
I am so glad someone else posted for April Fool’s. I was starting to think I was the only one who remembered.
Miss Tiramisu, I think it’s so lovely that you’re having the cast of the Golden Girls and their body doubles as your maids! And they can TOTALLY wear them again!!! Welll…. maybe not Bea Arthur, but with some extra material, she could make a nice caftan out of it.
Okay, so I’m like…WHAT?? She must be from a REALLY traditional family that requires sleeves on all girls’ dresses…or a religion that requires it or something…
