Enjoy your day tomorrow. Congratulations.

Annette says:

The Maggy London, you should wear a dress and feel special, get the dark blue shoes to match!

I’d say either the Maggy London or the Gap dress–the former’s colors clearly make you happy as you’re the most lit up in them :-) but the Gap one, with a quick run-over with an iron, would look utterly timeless. Either way, it’s pretty win-win.

The first top/pant combo is by far the chicest, but I’m biased against jeans unless they are super-dark denim. If you wanted to add a splash of color and you have a J.Crew near you, these bangles are adorable and worth checking out: http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/product.jhtml?id=prod88466181&catId=cat301254

are the pics evening or day? urban or park/woods setting?

Caroline says:

That Maggie London dress is just adorable, and it’s really flattering on you, too! Love the pockets. That’d definitely be my choice. As for the top/pants, i voted black top/white pants, but only if you’ve got some killer black heels to go with. The Gap dress has lots of potential, as well; it’d be my second choice behind the Maggie London. I agree that jazzing it up with colorful jewelry or bright shoes would make it really current and cute. Good luck, and have so much fun!!

ErinSea says:

I agree with Elizabeth, you might want to punch up the Gap dress and the black beaded top outfits with a bit of color and those bracelets or any jewelry you love could do it. I think you must love the Maggy London dress, you look like you’re having a lot of fun in it. I like it too!

Vicki says:

I think as far as the pants are concerned.. who is the real you? are you a jeans kinda girl or do you always dress up a bit??? you want to reflect the real you RIGHT NOW! so that you can look back later and see who you were today… does that make sense?

emilycreatives says:

if you are planning on making any of your photos black and white, you may want to avoid dark darks that will appear black and light lights that will appear white. Otherwise you may look like floating head and arms. So any midtones work well, gray, blue, green etc…

tanya2s says:

The Maggie London dress, definitely. Wearing a white dress with visible seams (you can see the brighter white stripes) is just asking for trouble– if the fabric is sheer enough to show seams, the flash could reveal some rather unflattering things! ;) Also I love the pockets and the bright colors.

I prefer the black Gap top, it’s less distracting from your face than the other, more contrast-y one. I agree that if you’re a jeans girl, wear the jeans, but put on some brightly colored shoes if you have them to punch up the outfit!

MsB says:

I love the Maggie London dress, but I’m kinda concerned that the print may be kinda of distracting in the photos. Often photographers ask you to wear something in solid colours so that the focus is on you, not on the clothing.

Could you add something to the white dress - like a necklace or solid coloured cardigan to add some color, without adding pattern?

Either way you’re going to look fabulous!

KS says:

Floral Maggy London dress DEFINITELY, and the black top/white pants…then I’d pick the Gap dress for some more informal, walk-in-the-park shots (maybe even barefoot?), but it needs something (like a belt, or some colorful jewelry). You might want to consider wearing a slip under the white dress, too, or at least nude-colored undies just in case the lighting does tricky things :)

Yeaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! My favs are winning so far!!

Blackbird says:

Gold top with either jeans or white pants (depending on how casual you want to look), and definitely the gap dress. It’s a timeless style that will look classic in the photos, and it lets your beautiful face shine! . The Maggy dress is also cute, but I would be afraid that it will look silly and dated in a few years. And the pattern will compete for attention in the photos. But for now, it’s adorable on you and definitely a keeper for after the event. Good luck!

jen says:

why can’t i see the results? :(

Ok, I think white gap dress, with a big funky torquoise (sp?) accesories would look great!

Also, I love the simplicity and how timeless the black top and white pants look! Years from now, that will still look really nice.

GL!

enmoore66 says:

I don’t think you want to wear anything too trendy that will look dated 2 years from now (or really, even 6 months from now). I think that for the top and bottoms shoot - you should wear the jeans (I think they fit you better and are more flattering than the white pants) and I do not think you should wear the patterned shirt - but even the black shirt is quite trendy. Do you have a crisp, solid, well tailored t-shirt, oxford, something not trendy? And now, to contradict my non-trendy, not too patterned comments - the Maggy London dress is my favorite of every single choice (dress and top/bottoms).

karebearlbc says:

My e-pix are tomorrow too! I can’t wait to see your final pictures!

18.
Kate says:

Technically, I gave a vote for the black top/white pants combination … but, that’s only because I wasn’t too excited about the specific jeans that you put up there. The wash on the thighs/knees is the lightest thing in the entire outfit, and it makes those body parts jump out.

Mrs. Onion says:

I have to say I **lovelovelove** the Maggy London dress. You look so cute and the pockets will lend themselves to some cute photos too! My second choice would be the Arden B dress — I just don’t think the white Gap dress enhances your natural beauty! And to contrast, I think classic black and jeans is always a winner, so the black beaded top with jeans was my vote!

Don’t forget you’ll have lots of photos of you dressed up at your wedding — it will be nice to have more dressed down options for the e-pics.

20.
Nstar says:

I think the grey dress is too light and “non-popping” for photos, and I agree that the floral dress looks best on you. I’m also with Mrs. Onion on the jeans and black top. Definitely the beaded top looks better than the gold one (although that one looks good too!).

How about pairing the gold top with a short skirt of some sort (white or yellow) for your other dressier type pic?

quickbrownfox says:

If I were you I’d pick the white Gap dress. It’s very elegant and neutral, and it’s a classic e-pic dress. But i think you should go for one that suits your personality best. The Maggy London dress looks cute on you, and that’s probably my 2nd favorite. If you want to go for elegant, classy look, I’d say pick the Arden B dress.

Just one thing, for photos.. it’s actually best to pick solid colors. That’s why i’m not sure with the prints on the Maggy London dress.

22.
Julieulie says:

I love the tops with the white pants, but not for engagement pictures. Since you’ll have the dress, I feel like something a tad on the more casual side always looks a bit better for some pictures. Plus, you might have some shots where you are sitting, and you don’t want to get your white pants all dirty and have the dirt show in later pictures.
We didn’t have the opportunity to change during our e-pics, so we did them all a tad on the more formal side, but I really wish I could go back and get a few casual ones in jeans!

linda says:

i love that black/pinkdress!!! SO CUTE!

24.
style-ish says:

I like the Maggy London dress the best.

I’m not sure if those are the shoes that you are wearing with the white pants, but if you go with the white pants, I’d suggest getting them hemmed before the pictures. It will make you look taller and slimmer! (not that you need it, but I hem all my pants and it does make a huge difference, especially in pictures.)

25.
lae says:

i like the white gap dress on you. the other dresses are way cute, but may have a bit too much going on for the pictures? if you guys have a crazy bright/fun background, it might look “confusing” w/ the printed dresses. the focus should remain on you and mr. cb, not your fits.

but all of them look so pretty on you! you can’t really go wrong with what you pick.

26.
L says:

You know, I’m not usually a fan of white pants, but they make you look a lot slimmer (and taller!) than the jeans in your pics. And I think the Maggy London dress fits you the best! It gives you curves in all the right places.

27.
beanchar says:

I love Maggie London! She has made fun, stylish dresses for YEARS and always comes up with something new.

I’m going to go against the grain and say DON’T WORRY about looking “timeless”! The only truly timeless clothes tend to be plain and boring and unless you are Grace Kelley and have her figure, you are going to look boring too.

What’s WRONG with looking of-the-moment (timeful??)– these pics are to capture THIS moment in time, after all. Wear what makes you feel best and your happy face will be the most important thing in the pic (and Mr CB’s, of course!)

28.
calibride says:

i love the gold top w/ jeans. and i actually love the black dress that is no longer a contender. you look HOT in all those outfits, so whatever you choose will be a hit I’m sure! =)

Oh yeah, what is Mr. CB wearing? Or is he waiting for you to choose the outfit to match him?

29.
JessicaSpeak says:

You are gonna look good regardless Miss CB!

The second dress with pockets is so cute on you! It really is adorable. And the black bead top w/ jeans is really cute also. I think it looks classic, yet trendy… looks great!
