About Mrs. Tiramisu

Here they are! The final design…

The colors are not all there, and the photoshopped colors are a little off, so you have to picture them in dark blue, light blue, and gold (just like the botched Thank You cards). Here are the invitation, RSVP, and reception card designs…(arrows are for gocco lining-up only)

The whole thing is going to be sort of an invitation folder, with the inserts secured by a ribbon- here’s the mock-up:

Here’s what the inside will look like, with the invitation itself on the right hand side:
I think my favorite part though, is the PERFECT paper I found at Paper Source to line the inside of the envelopes with. It’s a little crinkly, and totally yummy:I’m placing the paper order now, so the actual Gocco’ed invites will be appearing on a blog near you soon! As for the mock-ups, what do you think?

Those reply cards are the most amazing things I’ve ever seen! I LOVE the swirl for the names! :D

Fabulous work.

I run an invitation design company and often write Response at the top of the RSVP instead when using such an intricate font so it flows a bit better, so that could be something to try! Looking good though

I am struggling with my own paper items right now. Where did you get those beautiful graphic embellishments?

Love them! I also love how you included your welcome dinner in the RSVP. I may steal your idea there:)

@Coqui: That would look so much better- you’re right! Thanks for the tip!

@elegantbride: Paper-source! I bought it pre-cut, but you can save money by purchasing the larger sheets and cutting it yourself a la Mrs. Lemon!

@Le: @drprepper: These are from istockphoto.com . I also use clipart.com .

@Mrs. Lemon: Where do you think that fabulous idea came from? ;)

This looks great & very elegant looking! Where did you find the scroll designs for the invitations? I can’t seem to find it anywhere? Also, what size ribbon did you use for the invitations?

Did you have any problems printing light ink on dark paper? If so, do you have any tips? I used my gocco to print my save-the-date on this beautiful chocolate brown paper, but the white ink looked desaturated. I want to print on the same chocolate brown, but I am a little hesitant now.

Miss Tiramisu,

Those are beautiful!! For the ribbon - did you cut a slit at the fold of the card for the ribbon to wrap to the front of the card?
