About Me: I have been in wedding planning mode since Mr. Jelly Beans popped the question almost two years ago. I am a very dorky and sentimental person. I love laughing and living life alongside my husband-to-be. We have been in a long distance relationship for over 6 years - he is in California and I am presently in Canada, so you can imagine how excited we both are for our upcoming wedding.

Being a bridesmaid, soon after our wedding, gave me a new perspective on all things wedding! I found myself super psyched to be on the other side of the fence and super picky when choosing vendors. And it’s not even my wedding. Is that good or bad? You be the judge.
So when it came to hair and make up I began to do my research as a diligent and eager bridesmaid should. The bride had a friend who would be doing our hair. Check! So I proceeded to look for someone who could achieve greatness and work wonders. I am so not gifted in that department. I am envious of those who have mastered that art of makeup application.
I stumbled upon a make up artist while reading one of my daily blogs. Her gallery was gorgeous. And this is how I met Lo Ann of Let’s Get Beautified.
Several emails later, I had made my appointment for the morning of the wedding. She was very accommodating and flexible despite her busy schedule. Gotta love that! 
Having had the opportunity to meet and work with Lo Ann, I highly, highly recommend her. Besides being a fantabulous make up guru, she is also extremely nice, sweet and bubbly. We chatted like girlfriends who have known each other for years.
My lashes stayed on throughout the entire night and so did my make up. Flashback to our wedding where one of my lashes fell off during our vows due to my excessive weeping.

Getmarried4less- Her dresses were amazing! Super comfy and I didnt need a bra because of the support. Plus in my book. The designer is Bill Levkoff.
Vy-LMAO! You are too funny! Her venue was stunning. Unfortunately it is in Newport Beach California, its called the Turnip Rose. Its so Italian Villa-esque.
Mrs. JB - i just wanted you to know that i am officially stalking your blog for all things ottawa-wedding-related…. hopefully mine will be half as beautiful as yours (300 people and very small budget = i am in big trouble!)

Vy- stalk away! I am glad I can help someone out especially wedding related! Thank you for your kind words. I am sure your wedding will be beautiful. You just have to get creative. My tip is research your options. Ottawa doesnt really have too many but there are great vendors. And follow your heart. Dont get bullied into choosing someone you arent sold on. Its your day!!!! Chacha- She only does make up. But Im pretty sure if you contact her she has a few people that she works with often that she can recommend.
Jenny- Yes I would definitely recommend her. She is very good. I am working right now, and I cant find her contact info, so I will email you when I get home. Make sure you have pictures to show, it really helps her and you get the look you want. Talk soon.
