I’m very proud of myself, this is my second post in months! I’ve been busy with work….that’s my excuse. Anyway, back to the post at hand. For about two months, before I got my current gig at the radio, I worked as an event planner for a catering company and event venue–Foodz Catering and Acalia Events. They did the most amazing things with food. Besides tasting incredible, their presentation was out of this world. Don’t take take my word for it–check these out.

This is the 19 foot long buffet of “blinks” (smaller than an entree, larger than an hors d’oeuvres and individually served).

This table was suspended in the air..by magic. And when I say magic, I mean heavy duty wire.

Here’s the ice cream sundae bar–on blocks of ice. Inside the ice were little ornaments–so cute up close! If you have yet to find a venue or just need a caterer–check out Acalia Events and Foodz Catering!

I am so happy you are posting again because I am a Seattle bride! I haven’t yet figured out my venue, so I don’t need a caterer yet, but Acalia is one of the places that I contacted.

We had our wedding last september food was great, and the place “Acalia” wonderful.the personal staff are great they are in every single detail.

I came across a picture of your sundae bar and I am in absolute LOVE! Now…….

I live in Canada, so they are not going to be able to cater for me, BUT I was wondering if you had any more close up shots of that sundae bar. So incredible. Wow. I would just like to see how they placed everything. It’s hard to see in a small picture.
