Ann Taylor Sale!

April 12th, 2008 @ 5:19 pm by Mrs. Cupcake

I received an email yesterday about a weekend-long sale at Ann Taylor, and this dress in the email caught my eye:

Photo from http://www.anntaylor.com/

This dress looks so much like my bridesmaid’s dresses, I almost did a double-take! Regardless, I wanted to share this great sale with the hive. In stores and online through this Sunday, 4/13, you can get 20% off your purchase of $100 or more, and online orders over $100 have free shipping. The dress above is not part of the Celebrations collection, but it would still be an adorable bridesmaid’s dress (perhaps if you’re in a rush to get a dress for your gals and can’t wait the six weeks that other bridesmaid’s dresses require). The Celebrations collection has an even better sale going on — 25% off any of their new styles (including bridal gowns!). I’m not sure how long this sale lasts, but don’t miss your chance if you find a style you love.

Happy shopping! Let us know what you buy :-)

The fact that these models look healthy and happy really makes me want to get my dresses there. I mean seriously, why do designers of BRIDAL fashion think that waify, sad, half-dead looking models will help sell dresses meant to be worn on a HAPPY day?!

Love that teal dress.. I actually tried it on yesterday! Being engaged is an excellent excuse for buying fancy dresses. Engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons… and I’m even more excited about the new casual wear I get to buy for my showers. :) … Now if I could only find a good excuse to buy fabulous designer shoes…

Hehe I had to laugh when I saw the teal dress because I tried it on yesterday! I was contemplating buying it for my rehearsal dinner but decided to save the moolah and just wear a dress I already have. But I have to say that it IS a gorgeous dress!

I ordered a dress from the celebrations line and let me tell you, order larger! I had to go up *two* sizes and it’s still a little tight in the bust :( Just letting you know!

I LOVE sale shopping. You need to check out http://www.CouponCabin.com. The web site has coupons to tons of major online shopping sites, including Ann Taylor (Gotta love stacking coupons!). There’s also J. Crew which has some gorgeous wedding dresses.

CouponCabin is good and I have used them before, I also like http://www.rather-be-shopping.com for coupons to Ann Taylor, plus they have a couple other sites that are great for bridesmaids dresses.
