Puppy Duds - Check!

April 16th, 2008 @ 4:44 pm by Mrs. Lovebug

I’m so excited! Sarah from Bice Designs just messaged me to say that Chaucer’s “power tie” ring bearer collar is finished!

Here’s what I sent her about a week ago:

And here’s what she made out of it:

It’s got a little clip-on pouch for the (fake) rings…

…and she even put a little “Love” clip on it with a heart-shaped ring:

As you can see, Chaucer’s mad that I’m blogging about it before he even gets to try it on:

Sorry, buddy. But I know in the chaos of this week I might be too busy to take proper portraits.

I know, I know. Unnecessary expense. But it was only $14 (we had the tie already); not bad for a 30’’ silk collar.

For anyone else including a pooch in the ceremony, did you get him/her a special “outfit”?

Love it! What a great idea and at a reasonable price. You could easily pay that much for a plain dog collar at a pet store. I’m impressed!

You probably told us before that your dog is named Chaucer, but I just have to say that’s awesome! Very cool collar too.

I think $14 is a steal. I usually pay more for Maisy’s collars, and they aren’t as unique as that one! Chaucer will look so very handsome )

Chauncer’s super cute! You’d better be careful - he might steal the show :P
I would love to include my dog in our ceremony (and wear such a pretty collar) but she’s blind and just slightly crazy. She also can’t sit still for more than 15 seconds. Oh well.

Are you serious? That is hella cute! And $14 is nothing in the grand scheme of things, especially for such a nice personal detail. Chaucer is going to look mad fly!

That is such a fabulous idea!!! Jellyby the dog is very very jealous of Chaucer’s new outfit.

Your detail oriented wedding planning makes my heart sing. I have enjoyed watching your wedding come together. As far as the latest idea, I love it and may steal it if I let FI talk me into having our (crazy) Vizsla in the wedding!

That is adorable! I don’t even have a dog, and I want one! (maybe a collar for my cat? or for my FI? — teehee that sounds dirty)
