So What About The Groom?

April 16th, 2008 @ 5:55 pm by Mrs. Caramel

Many of you have probably heard the saying ”it’s all about the Bride” on the wedding day.  It’s true that photographers mostly shoot the bride, and everyone only stands for the bride—but I say that these days, grooms care just as much as the bride about being involved in all aspects of the wedding.  Mr. Caramel was actually very involved in all the decisions we made—so to be fair, I dedicate this post to him and his groomsmen!

These pictures were taken by a friend to capture the day from the groom’s end. Enjoy!

oooo…. don’t lose the ring!

My soon-to-be-husband!

I still can’t believe that the guys ate Taco Bell on the morning of the wedding! Here’s the ring bearer eating his taco—who also became my nephew that day!

Makeup is not only for the girls :)

I think they really liked wearing makeup, don’t you????

Then our pastor came in for a prayer right before the ceremony. Love these shots!

and a toast with one of Mr. Caramel’s favorite drinks— Red Bull.

And finally he makes it to the altar!

The end!! …… or the beginning, I should say!

Great Pics Mrs C! I noticed in our engagement pics that Mr. Penguin’s splotchiness really showed up in the pictures, so I was hoping to dust him a bit with powder too…I dont know how well he will take it but its good to see that people actually do it!

His tie is just one of the options from Friar’s Tux! I loved it too!! It’s a cream, off white color. :)

I think it’s really cool that they prayed beforehand!

Hi I loved the pics! I was wondering if his tux shirt is white or ivory? I am in the middle of deciding what to do with my ivory dress! Thanks!

I love that they had taco bell and red bull before the wedding. Perfect for a bachelor’s last meal! ;)

Thanks for focusing on the groom’s side of a wedding - great idea! I’d love to see more from other weddings (hint, hint). I think my fiance could really get into wedding planning, if he saw other guys into it and thought it was “normal.”

so not true:
“grooms care just as much as the bride about being involved in all aspects of the wedding”

At least I wish 10% of that is true in my case!

They all had ivory shirts! I didn’t think they’d make a difference, but when you put the ivory shirts right next to the white shirts, I ended up thinking that the white shirts were too white!

I wore an ivory dress but HONESTLY, I can barely tell the difference on all this ivory vs white difference. I can only tell when you compare a white gown vs ivory gown…. and who else is going to be wearing white/ivory besides you? (hopefully no one!)

Your veil looks so amazing on you! And your bouquet was a perfect combo of orange and green. I was wondering if you could post a close-up of your bouquet?
