Shower Details

April 20th, 2008 @ 12:33 pm by Mrs. Tiramisu

I still can’t get over the amount of time and energy that was put into my bridal shower. Look at these details…

Cookie favors: I don’t even really like cookies, but these are amazing. I’m so glad we got sent home with about ten of the extras.

Tasty and well-endowed wedding dress cookies.

They go well with beer.

Personalized napkins: Again, there were a bunch left over, so we have a big box of them now. I think we’ll use them at the post-wedding brunch that my mom is planning.

The monogram’s from Creative Montage- we used it on our save-the-dates.

Personalized M&Ms: They purchased an extra bag just for me to take home.

And I am one spoiled bride.

Favors, napkins, the ever-popular personalized M&Ms… admittedly unnecessary but definitely fun.

What’s your favorite un-needed but I-just-want-it wedding detail?

We’re doing personalized water bottles because our church gets really hot in the summertime. It’s totally unnecessary, but I just can’t seem to let it go when I have to sacrifice something to the budget gods.

How thoughtful! One of the things I can’t seem to let go of are place cards… for my buffet reception. I am just so excited about making things, and it seems like such a fun craft idea…

Those cookies are well endowed, but they look a lot like me. I kind of want then for my own shower. Were they bought or homemade?

@jnicholea: Oooh la la lucky girl! They were purchased- the tag on the back says Lucy & Ethel Baked Goods, Inc. No website, but their phone numbers are 443-604-6170 and 410-507-2101 (Maryland area codes).

I can’t believe I forgot to grab a cookie! I didn’t realize how well endowed the ladies were… wow… was she trying to make it look like you?!

I bought personalized golf tees because the guys are going golfing before the wedding. Totally unnecessary, but I wanted to him to have something that would tie his golfing into the wedding.
And now someone has given him a hat that says “groom”, so I think that will be awesome to wear when he is golfing!!!

Haha, we are using the same monogram for our wedding as well! Yay Creative Montage!
