Lovey Hubby

Right now, I’m tucked into bed, surrounded by a mass of bridal magazines and a white sea of used Kleenex. The pungent scent of Vicks Vapo Rub is filling my teeny-tiny studio apartment and threatening to suffocate me to death. Yup, I’m sick.
Ordinarily, I would be pretty bummed about this. I have a million things to do and missing work this close to the wedding just won’t do. So why am I in good spirits? Because yesterday Mr. Jasmine stopped by on his lunch hour with medication, food, and ice cream. Not just any ice cream— but Ben & Jerry’s “Chubby Hubby.” As he said, “If your own chubby hubby can’t be with you while you’re sick, maybe this can keep you company in the meantime.”
Ahhh, he is just the cutest! I can’t wait until he’s officially my hubby

Since I’m bride-to-be desperate and have been doing quite well with my workouts, my future-hubby just surprised me with an ipod shuffle…in my favorite color and engraved with my full married name! So sweet Hope you feel better!
I had a terrible day at work yesterday, and got home to find my other half (who had been working from home) had made me a cup of tea, baked some cookies, picked up my new Sephora delivery AND done the laundry (which he knows I hate doing). And I hadn’t even told him about my bad day yet - he did those things just because.
It was such a contrast to the rest of the day, that I ended up crying into my cookies. So he told me I was stupid

My hubs surprised me this Christmas with a membership to his own flower-of-the month club: every month this year, he’s getting me flowers, but I never know what day (or even time of day) it’ll be or what he’ll find for me. In March he surprised me at work with roses. I love it!

my fh used to do things like this when we were living in the same city……
earlier this week i was having monster cramps, and the memories of how my fh would bring me pound bags of m&ms, actually made me feel better!
i can’t wait to be married and get that treatment all the time……

What a cute idea! It is always nice when the guys surprise us:)
My FI is planning a “surprise getaway” for our 4 year anniversary (May 1st). I am guessing that he is planning a trip to the KY Derby, where we met. The anticipation is fun either way!
