About Me: I recently moved to Canada from Southern California. Trying to plan a wedding in a new city, not to mention a new country, is tough, but the fact that we can get legally married here more than makes up for it! The wedding will be an opportunity for most of our family and friends to see our new city for the first time so it will be both a wedding and a reunion. Besides my future wife, I am also madly in love with a good bargain, Swedish pastries, Tivo, and my two dogs and calico cat (in no particular order).
What Will Miss GB 2.0 Wear?

Lots of you have asked what Miss GB 2.0 will be wearing to the wedding. We’ll, I finally have an answer for you! This weekend we went off to Washington State to do a little outlet shopping. We went into several stores and Miss GB 2.0 finally found something worth trying on. Of course, it looked fabulous and to top it all off, it was well below budget!
When Mama Gingerbread was visiting, she brought up some ribbon that she thought I could use for my bouquet. It matched my dress perfectly, so we brought the ribbon along to make sure that her outfit would match the dress too.
Now before the big reveal, I’ll tell you I’ve never seen Miss GB 2.0 in a dress! That’s just not her style.
Miss GB 2.0 is shy and won’t pose for my post, but here is her suit posing on its own. At least you’ll get the general idea.
The next challenge is to find cream shoes in a style that Miss GB 2.0 is comfortable with.
Something like this, a chunky heel dressy loafer-type shoe, but in cream. Have you seen a shoe like that and, if so, where?

That suit is killer. Very Angelina-Jolie-at-the-Oscars from a few years back that always looks timeless.
Nice suit! I know this isn’t a loafer, but if she is interested in something a little different - plus since she scored on the suit, maybe she can treat herself to some nice shoes?
Hot suit! Does the shoe have to be a loafer? I just did a quick zappos search for white loafers and came up with nadda with a heel.

Super stylin’ suit! Will she wear a blouse under the jacket? I think something that will match the green sash would look SO coordinated and not over the top.

try johnny fluevog, they have great chunky heals. A little pricey, but a quality shoe that will last. They are also amazing. They also have a wedding selection (shoes that come white) which takes time for ordering. I’ll be wearing the yellow Operetta Viardot for my own wedding!
i know you wanted cream, but with that suit, i think she could pull off any color shoes! you’re both going to look awesome. =)
I love the suit! I’m so not a shoe person so I don’t have much advice on that. I’m sure you’ll find it though. Maybe try zappos, piperlime or endless?
What about Zappos.com (for the shoes)? I really like that you can narrow down the selections by color, heel height, and size. It looks like they’ve got a couple of things that might work (though they’re spread out in multiple color categories, like white, beige, neutral, bone…)
Wow - this is a challenge! Neither of these (first one shoes, second one boots) is exactly that, but they do have a nice chunky heel and come in bone.
Very classic suit! She will look lovely:) Have you tried Dansko for shoes? They have quite a few styles in addition to traditional clogs. A metallic loafer like this one might also be cute:

Because I share Miss GB2.0’s preference for a chunky won’t-get-caught-in-the-pavement/grass/bricks heel, I know how hard a pair with said heel can be to find.

Thanks for the shoe suggestions. I’ve been scouring the internet and not finding what she wants. I am hoping more light coloured shoes start hitting the stores soon!
@LisaL: We are definitely going to try to incorporate green somehow. Perhaps a tie with green in it and/or a patterned green collared shirt.
