Help Me Pick My Bouquet Bling!

April 29th, 2008 @ 6:08 pm by Mrs. Lovebird

I’m having the hardest time deciding which bouquet jewel to go with, so I’m sending a S.O.S. out to the hive.

I can’t decide if I should go with the classic Clear starfish or with the Aquamarine one to go with our wedding colors.

Or maybe the palm tree?

Which should be my bouquet bling?

I need to decide quickly since free shipping at Bouquet Jewels ends April 30th. What do you guys think? I’m leaning towards the clear starfish, because I figure it’ll match everything.  Also, should I put more than one jewel on my bouquet or would that be overdoing it?

What color(s) will your bouquet be?

I really like the clear one. It looks so pretty.

I LOVE the starfish but more than one may be too busy and blingy…But then again I am a fan of simplicity.

@beanchar: I actually haven’t decided on my bouquet…Probably something orangey. I kinda like the one pictured, but no sure bets at the moment.

I’ve never really understood bouquet jewelry. It doesn’t seem necessary. But if you want one, I’d go with the clear starfish.

i guess since you haven’t decided on a color and the free shipping is over tomorrow, i’d go for the clear starfish just to be safe. at least you’re sure that it won’t clash with whatever you end up picking.

I’d go for the clear starfish-I think more than one jewel would detract from your flowers.

Clear…that way you don’t have to match the flowers to your bling which is harder to do than matching a clear/cristal/stone to anything.

I have to say, I don’t really get the jewel in the bouquet thing either.

I say the clear one. And only one at that , more then that get’s too busy and distracting , one is like a little supprise ^-^

I voted for the clear one-it’s so pretty! I didn’t use any in my bouquet though-I wound my grandfather’s rosary beads through it instead. It looked beautiful and served as my something old!:-)

I’d say clear, and I think I’d prefer it on the handle than in the bouquet itself … I’m in the camp that doesn’t quite ‘get it’.

Have you seen the bee? That would be appropriate.

Add me to the heap who doesn’t “get” the jewled bouquet–I love the accent and all, especially considering your theme, but at the same time–what about confining the bling to the stem of your bouquet? Perhaps it can be an unexpected surprise to the lucky lady who gets it, and then it could be a tradition? Sweet, yes?

I like the aquamarine one–just one. the clear is really pretty, too. it’s the beauty of the flowers that will be stunning–only a few people will see your bouquet jewels. choose one that makes you happy to look at.

hahaha i always pick the one with the smallest margin of votes…but for some reason i really like the palm tree–it’s cute and fun and unique…then my second choice would be the blue but i wasn’t sure how it would look with your bouquet colors…but it and the other starfish are really lovely too…

The clear crystal one is great. I like how it still shows a starfish but can be a little abstract too.
