I’m back and tanner from Vegas! We had a blast doing “chick stuff” all weekend. I have to admit, I don’t love to do Vegas as most bachelorettes like to. I’m kind of low key, and I don’t particularly enjoy nude men nor night clubs, so my girlfriends had a doozy of a time trying to figure out an itinerary I would enjoy…and they did a great job!
On Friday, all 11 of us trickled in at various times, so we spent the majority of the day checking in, grabbing lunch, playing some Wheel of Fortune slots, and getting everyone settled in. My girlfriend had obtained some wristbands for no wait/free admission to Jet in the Mirage. So we went for oh…about 5 minutes, realized how much I hate sweaty nightclubs, and “Jetted” the hell outta there to a bar at the Bellagio instead.

Martinis at FIX…Ahh, better.
We bonded over a bag of Cheetos and hit the hay for a big Saturday to come.
Saturday, in short, was AWESOME. The Mirage called us at 8AM sharp to inform us that we scored a Cabana by the pool, so we headed down for a full day of poolside antics. We all agreed that getting a Cabana was probably the best thing we could have done for the day. We were able to be out by the pool ALL DAY, because anytime you needed shelter from the sun, you could retreatinto our private spot in the shade. There were also spray misters attached, which made laying out in the heat very pleasant! We were all able to stay poolside for 7 hours straight without getting uncomfortable or too sapped by the sun, and having waitstaff coming by every 20 minutes was super key to getting all the food and drinks we wanted!

Green dress calls for a giant green drink!
After an hour of power napping we pre-partied up in the room and played a newlywed-type game where they had asked Mr. Penguin a bunch of questions and I had to answer them, opened a few naughty gifts, and downed a few drinks.

You want me to put this in my what?
We headed to dinner at a Mexican place called Diablo’s…the food was decent but the drinks (Margaritas and Sangrias) were horrid.
After that we headed out to the Revolution Lounge which was AWESOME! Being a gaggle of 11 gals, we got in free/no waiting and they kept it pretty uncrowded.

They had these trippy touch-sensitive tables, so I spent a good portion of the night drawing stuff. I’m REALLY EXCITING like that.
All in all a wonderful trip. I can’t recommend The Revolution Lounge in the Mirage more if you’re looking for an upbeat yet low-key and “classy-ish” night out. I had a great time and it was everything I hoped it would be!
sounds sooo cool!!!!!
i would have spent hours at that table too, lol….
