Har har now… Let me get you your escort card…
The same friend that created all these graphics for us rocked it again! Check it!
Thanks to EDGNY who shared where to purchase these cards and the template that went with it!
After all your hard work and major sweat, you don’t want to see your escort cards tossed out right? Plus, I had so many things going on at the table that the last thing I wanted was guests to be sifting through another sheet of paper with moooooore information. So I thought… how abouts I use the inside of the card? It’s small, CUTE, and easy to store some information.
Thanks to Mrs. Lemon’s awesome post on collecting non-pro pics, I was able to sign up for a Flickr account and share the pertinent information with all my friends inside our handy dandy little keepsake escort card. Now I won’t have to hound friends for CDs and bug them like crazy. And this way, we wouldn’t have forwarded albums back and forth and everyone can now collectively view and download each other’s photos.
Suh-weeeeeeeeeet! I can’t wait to see the pictures rolling in, assuming everyone will do this, but knowing how super crazy picture wh*re-ish I am, I hope they oblige my obsession. Mr. CB and I decided to go into relaxation full mode post wedding, and have decided to leave our laptops at home…. no pictures for 2 weeks! Imma go nuts, you guys planning to do the same - laptop free? WB free - OH MY? I’ll probably spaz out from withdrawal! LOL.
And last but not least… our table numbers that Wendy also recreated for us. A SUPER DUPER HI FIVE if you can figure out where you might have seen that design?

Those cards are gorgeous … but I am a bit worried that people wont think to open them up to see the inside.

That’s a brilliant idea to put the photo information inside the card! What a good way to save paper!

Ack!! Those are awesome!! By far my favorite escort cards and table numbers that I’ve seen. And I love that the escort cards play double-duty.

Your graphics are just like mine! I found a design I liked at Hello Lucky and scanned it and redrew the whole thing in Illustrator. I assume that’s where your friend got it?
I had fun picking elements from the design to decorate the rehearsal dinner/brunch invite, the program, the favor tags, etc.
Hi miss cb! if you’re not too busy, can you please post a tutorial on the tags you used for the favors? i can’t figure out how to print on both sides so that it’ll fit one square tag…. please help!!

Hi Miss CB. I’m a flickr newbie and you inspired me to sign up for an account today so guests can share photos, what a great idea! Can you explain what you wrote on the inside of the card? I’m confused on how to manage the flickr group. Are you making it public and having people search for the group, or is there a way to make it private and have people enter a password?

im not making it public so that if people typed in our names in the search box, it’d pop up. but if people had the direct link that I gave them based off our cards, they would be able to search it from there.
Basically by giving them the cards, you are giving them access to a private account. You can always make it completely private and not use the flickr page that people can type in direct to get to the page. So therefore, anyone that has the information from the wedding are the only ones that will have the information unless otherwise shared. I hope that made sense. Good luck!

@ykuo: so sorry but I actually went through the tedious task of entering each person’s name bc I didn’t know how to use mail merge and didn’t want to bother trying to figure out bc it took me forever to line all the rest of the graphics, etc. sorry i am not much help there! =( boo …
