Sweet Paper Studio designed my invitations and I’m so happy to see the save the date she designed is featured as the second one pictured above. She did an AMAZING job with my invitations.

I can not say enough good things about Phyllis at Sweet Paper Studio! She takes into account the smallest details and everything comes out personalized for the couple. She is nothing short of amazing! just see her designs for yourself :)

Many of the designs are quite lovely. I just left this same question on the OP, which I had missed: Why does someone having a wedding in June need save the dates now? Shouldn’t invites be out already or, if not, going out soon? Seems like a waste of a contest to me.

I’m admit, I’m probably biased as Phyllis at Sweet Paper did my wedding invitation as well and it’s awesome. I love her save the date though.

Hi Kayleigh,
We chose the couples based on their amazing stories and what we knew would be great inspiration for the designers regardless of their wedding dates. We just couldn’t resist Holly & Dustin and Laurice & Alex’s stories!

Thanks for the reply. Still seems like a way to make a buck, though, by eventually selling the winning designs to others. I guess that’s what the wedding biz is all about, though. I still think it’s a waste to design STDs for couples marrying in a month. I’m sure there were other good stories from brides who actually needed and could have used them. But that’s just one girl’s opinion!

Hee.

I’m on the Phyllis Sweet Paper Studio bandwagon, too.

She did all my paper items (sans my invites) and she’s AMAZING.

Her STD for this contest is divine, too!
