that looks great! i love all the fancy writing but i just don’t see myself sitting down to write it myself or even paying someone else to do it for that matter even though i have pretty good handwriting. i’m going the new fangled fashioned way and making the computer do all the dirty work. delegation at its finest.

So how did you begin learning this- did you use an instruction book or just whing it? I’ve tried a few different calligraphy pens, and nothing seems to get that “look” you’ve got… share?

I have this mental picture of you spending each day creating joyfully in your craft room surrounded by animated singing and dancing Disney characters. :)

I’m calligraphing all my invitations, place cards, etc. as well. Let me tell you what a pain it is so far. I have over 110 invites to address, and I cannot believe I signed myself up for this. But every invitation I’ve done so far looks amazing, and FI absolutely adores them so it’s all worth it. I’m also doing a font that’s quite difficult - Traditional Gothic style.
So far i still have about 100 to go, but I have about a month so it’s not too bad.
