About candycorn

One of our favorite vendors we’ve found has to be our videographer, Wellspun Weddings. John Gangwer, who started the business after being dissatisfied with the videography options available for his own wedding, creates absolutely beautiful vintage videos with full-day (8 hour) coverage starting at $1,249. They offer Super 8-quality cinematic charm at an affordable price, which makes this recent college grad very happy! WSW also serves areas that aren’t so local (for those of you who don’t inhabit this lovely Keystone State).

Click here to go to another (gorgeous!!) video by Well Spun Weddings. The testimonial videos on the website get me all choked up because in a few months, we’re going to be one of those happy couples with nothing but praise for WSW. I know it can be easy to say “eh, we’ll just have Uncle ____ shoot the wedding” if videography isn’t in your budget, but for us, we decided to save in other areas (*cough* my dress *cough*) so we could make room for our own Wonder Years moments.

*Note: I promise I’m not being bribed by Well Spun Weddings to write a super duper nice post about them…I’m just totally smitten.

We are also using Wellspun for our wedding in November! I came across the website when not even looking for a videographer, watched one of his sample clips and booked him the next day. The clincher for us was the fact that the sample clips of couples that I had never met made me cry! Just talking about it has made me all giddy!

Ooo… thats so great. I had contacted them to see if they would travel but because of their awesome prices, they couldnt. I was sad - but great choice, their work is stunning!

I initially didn’t want a videographer but the more I see of the 8mm movies the more I want it. My fiance has already nicknamed me “BUDGET BUSTER” and it really was not factored into the budget. I am scared to ask ….. LOL

We were going to use them too! Love their work - being in Boston was a little more difficult as we wouldn’t be able to meet with them before hand :( in the end we are using a local vendor. I love their work!

Their work is gorgeous. I contacted them right after I saw Mrs. Corn’s post about them. Unfortunately they wouldn’t travel. I tried finding someone local who did the super 8 or 16mm-no luck. I hope more videographers become inspired by their work!

They’re the videographer for my November wedding! My fiance and I didn’t initially want a video at all (we both hate them) but I loved them so much that I fought tooth and nail to get them. They are the ONLY wedding film I have ever seen that has made me cry (and I don’t even know the people in the videos, lol).

I’m so with msgirard… I absolutely didn’t want video, but I see Super 8 and start drooling. And mentally hemorrhaging money.
