Mrs. Bee, would it be possible to add one more category called something like “International Couples,” for those of us who have to deal with things like spousal visas and green cards, receptions in multiple countries, and all that? I don’t know if there are many other international couples on Weddingbee, but if there are, it would be great to have a place to chat with them. Thanks!

@HL: International Couples could definitely work. Although just to be clear - do you mean, a marriage where each person lives in a different country? I’m a bit worried people might think it means an Inter-cultural couple (like how Mrs. Bee is Korean and I am half-Japanese). Any thoughts?

Hi there — what I originally meant is couples who are citizens of different countries (whichever one(s) they happen to live in at the moment) and so have extra stuff to deal with beyond differences in cultural traditions. But it could easily include other meanings of “international,” whatever you all think is best. I’m not picky :) It’s just that I was looking at the list and realizing that my FI and I didn’t fit into any of the existing categories, and this is probably the biggest “cultural” thing for us right now!
