About Mrs. Shortcake

Mandatory Pink - Yessssssssssss!

May 23rd, 2008 @ 2:55 pm by Mrs. Shortcake

There was a month to go before we left for Vancouver.

Then there was three weeks.

Now it’s two and a half weeks, and I’m slowly beginning to understand how time works - and I don’t like it one bit!

Curse you, time!

Besides batch-tasking (doing only one step of a project for all the pieces), what really keeps me motivated is my happy thoughts of seeing my family and friends for the first time since we moved to Winnipeg last year.

So excited!

Especially now that this has arrived:

My sweet bridal shower invitation made by Sister Shortcake, complete with strawberry stamps to honor my weddingbee moniker, and the BEST DRESS CODE EVER:

WOOT! WOOT!

When wedding-work is getting you down, what keeps you afloat?

Ditto, I’m reading it as “Lurk”. Does that mean dressing ninja-style?

O wait, now I get it. Pink!

Dress code is Pink…as in everyone wears Pink that day.

we just booked the tickets for our honeymoon, so thinking of relaxing on the beach or exploring the jungle with my *husband* keeps me shining bright. :) it also helps that we’re in planning vs. production stages, though it will really kick into high gear soon!

Please come Lurk at Miss Shortcake’s Pink Punk Bridal Shower. Attire: Spike collars, angora sweaters and bedazzled binoculars!

Love it! Sister Shorty did good!

It does look like Lurk or Punk, lol.

But either way I love your invites she made, and I also love the idea of a pink dress code! :)
