After the ceremony, our photographers captured several shots that I truly wasn’t even aware of. I was so happy and so excited that we were married, I just wanted to hug everyone! The wedding party and immediate families congregated in the Parish Hall while we waited for formal portraits.
Officially Mr. and Mrs. Magnolia! Okay, so maybe I was aware of this one.
I got hugs from my best friends…my Matron of Honor:
And my Maid of Honor:
“The most beautiful discovery that true friends can make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.” - Elizabeth Foley
These ladies have been my best friends for eleven years and fourteen years, respectively. They are wonderful, talented, beautiful women, and even though we’re all very different, we’ve remained extremely close.
A hug from my mom:
And a hug from my new father-in-law. I LOVE this picture. It’s kind of amazing to me how welcoming, loving, and supportive my in-laws are. I know that a lot of people struggle with their in-laws, but that has never been an issue for me. I’m a lucky Magnolia, to have not only a wonderful husband, but also a new extended family who, quite simply, adores me…and trust me, the feeling is mutual!
And finally, signing the Catholic marriage certificate. Unlike our legal marriage license/certificate, this one is ceremonial, but binding in the eyes of the church.
