So tough to pick just one! But I think my ultimate would be to be outside, especially during a warm sunset, near water, with a margarita & good friends! Tough to beat!
We live in Boston so our favorite things is to take long walks at night down Newbury St and back–it’s usually overrun with tourists & shopping fanatics during the day but at night it’s perfect!!

My favorite summer activity is grilling and watching baseball.
bbq & frisbee. as well as sipping on ice cold ice/sweet teas while sitting outside
We invite a couple people over and have 40’s on the porch. We only do it a couple times during the summer so people get excited and it gets really built up. We all sit out there talking and laughing and telling stories late into the night. It’s nice to have the kind of parties once in awhile where you don’t have to do anything, bring anything, or set up anything.

Favorite summer activity is canoe camping on Battle Island. This is a small island in the river that flows near my home. We take food, drinks, friends and a bunch of dogs. It’s so close to home, we can go every weekend if we want!

Relaxing at some tropical spot by the water or pool with a good book and cold fruity drink in hand.

My favorite summer activity would have to be FI’s family tradition, which is renting a house on a lake in Michigan and the whole family (8 adults and 6 children) stuff into a 3 bed/1 bath home for a week. It makes for some interesting yet fun times together.

fav summer activity: alternating naps on the beach with dips in the ocean.
also wanted to weigh in to say that the invitiation shown is a carlton crafts design. this was originally my first pick for invites but the quality is so-so at best. cards aren’t quite the right size, especially if you need multiple enclosures like me. if you want to check them out in person, papyrus carries this line…keep in mind that different stores have different names for particular invites.
i ended up picking out a different line from carlton crafts (the “endowment” pocketfolds) and ordering online for a significant savings vs. papyrus. this was a different website that was also cheaper than IC, though IC has a better looking site.
BBQ’s and definitely eating watermelon.
My most favorite summer day is down at the NJ shore. We will sit on the beach all day with friends, talk, eat and read all the gossip magazines. I stay on the beach until at least 5pm. I love that feeling coming off the beach that I might be a little burnt and then heading out for a fresh seafood dinner and off to dance the night away at one the bars!

I love going to the beach with my family and friends… or having barbeque every Saturday… I’m easy to please… so… small get togethers with them are my fave, it always makes fun memories… be it summer, winter, spring or fall!

In Madison, WI, on the square lawn of the Capital Building the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra hosts “Concert on the Square” on Wednesday evenings. The sunsets to a beautiful soundtrack- simply gorgeous. Taking a big blanket with an evening picnic with good friends:

Favorite activity?? Sitting on the deck with a big ol glass of wine!!

Definitely our annual trip to Bethany Beach, DE. Been going there since I was 3 years old.
Lazy afternoons spent with family at my uncle’s lake plot on Lake Keowee are the best. Although this summer my family is taking a cruise (last summer where it’s just the four of us/parents anniversary) and I can’t wait to layout on the beach in Mexico!
