Well, in T-minus-too-few-hours, we’ll officially be off to Vancouver! Thank you once again for all your support, and for all your suggestions for accomplishing my 9-day-tour-of-wedding-duties!
Mr. Shortcake and I are both soooo excited to see our families, not only because it’s been almost a year since we saw their sweet faces, but also because we can finally celebrate becoming engaged!
Our furbaby, Harvey, a “shit-poo-poo” (shih tzu pomeranian toy poodle), is very excited as well.
He has been talking non-stop on the phone with his Nana
(not staged, he actually has full on growfling/barking conversations with her if I put my mom on speakerphone 
)
about how much fun flying on a plane will be!

And I believe you on the phone talking… my dog used to DEMAND to get on the phone with mr beanchar during the nine months he was living apart from us for work. She would try to knock the phone from my hand until I let her speak to him!
She was less good about talking to him via webcam however, due to her disdain for the internet (“Stupid LOLcats iz ruin the world wide webz!”“).
Have such a wonderful trip! I know you are anxious about your long to-do list - but if anyone can do it - you can, and you will. You are the most organized bride you can be, and I can’t wait to hear all about your planning when you return. Travel safely!
Awww, I love that passport cover!! Lol- my parents’ dog talks on the phone to me, too, sometimes! They put me on speaker and let him grumble into the receiver at me. Most of the time he just bites it, though.
