Groomsmen Gifts!

June 9th, 2008 @ 10:30 am by Mrs. Candy Corn

I kind of doubt that any of our groomsmen would be browsing Weddingbee, but just in case, I’ll put their gifts behind a cut!

Each of the grown-up groomsmen will be receiving all of the following:

Straight Razor Shave at Shaving Grace Barbers (Exton, PA): Includes a facial wash, pre-shave oil, hot towel, cleansing mask, rehydration. Estimated duration of service is 45 minutes. $45

Brown Converse shoes of their choice (to wear with their chocolate brown tuxes). $40ish

Custom typewriter key cufflinks with initials (we’re not positive we’ll be able to afford these too, but I’m crossing my fingers that we can save enough to properly spoil our guys). $20

For the 12 and 10-year-old groomsmen (Mr. Candy Corn’s younger brothers), we figured they wouldn’t be very enthused by personalized cufflinks or straight razor shaves (but they’ll be getting wee brown Converse shoes). I asked Mr. Candy Corn what their interests and hobbies were, and the best answer he could come up with was “video games.” I tried to think of things they would enjoy getting BESIDES a video game, and the only thing I could come up with was having Mr. Candy Corn spend a day with them doing something fun. I started searching on Google and discovered that there will be a Video Game Expo (the largest video game convention on the East Coast) the month after our wedding! So, Mr. CC will be taking his adorable brothers to America’s VideoGame Expo to make things interesting for the little hyperactive fellas.

What types of personalized gifts will you be getting your groomsmen?

LOVE the shaving grace GC!! what a great spa gift for a man!

Our gifts vary… 2 GMs are receiving jerseys from the NE Revolution soccer team, 1 is receiving engraved cufflinks and a huge bag of peanut m&ms (he’s a candy addict) and the 4th GM doesn’t have a gift yet…but I’m not worrying ;) … that’s my FI’s task!

Oh those kids are going to LOVE going to the video game expo!

Love that you’re letting them choose which Chucks they’d like! I’m still trying to convince Mr. Pom to have the GM’s wear them because I think Chucks on a wedding day is so cute!

I like the experiential gift for the mini-GM’s. Very good idea! Not only will they enjoy hanging out with their big brother, but they probably won’t be at the bachelor party (I assume?) and won’t get their GM time then.
