Greetings from Venice!!!

After an action-packed wedding weekend (more on this when I get back, I promise!), a couple issues at the airport (I think Mr. Toucan would like to write about this later), we finally arrived in Venice Monday afternoon. Between Monday and Tuesday, Mr. Toucan and I can attest to the fact that you truly can get lost in Venice VERY easily. Good thing it’s one of Venice’s “to-dos.” We’re naturals at it. 
Anyway, I just wanted to check in and to say “hello” officially as a MARRIED lady! Mr. Touc and I are still finding it hard to believe that we actually did this 3 days ago:

Though we did have our series of mishaps, and it was the HOTTEST day of the year, our wedding was fabulous! I really can’t wait to show you more!
Anyway, arrivedercci for now… more later though… promise!

I was just there last weekend on our Honeymoon! You MUST find a restaurant called Da Ivo. It’s simply amazing. If you like prosciutto, which I’m moderately obsessed with, they offer the best I’ve ever had. It’s on Calle dei Fuseri, behind St. Mark’s square. It’s definitely expensive, but we felt it was worth it!
Woo hoo! You two look stunning and so happy . . . love your smiles. Enjoy Italy! And please post lots of honeymoon pictures so we can all enjoy vicariously through you.
