About Ms. Dahlia

One of the highlights of our honeymoon was a trip (two, actually, because it was that much fun) to the Monkey Forest in Ubud, Bali. For 1,500 rupiahs (about $1.60 or s0), you can enter the park. Another 2,000-3,000 rupiahs will get you a bunch of 15-20 bananas to feed the monkeys.

And that’s where the fun begins.

We got caught in a rainstorm, and took shelter right outside of this temple.

Waiting for the rain to let up.

Snack time!

As we were leaving, we noticed a mother feeding her baby, so we had to stop and take some pictures.

If you ever find yourself in Bali, I highly recommend a trip to the Sacred Monkey Forest.

I love the mama monkeys facial expressions! In the first picture she looks like a typical mother who’s harried and trying to take a moment to feed her baby, and then in your last picture, she looks so loving and content.

What a wonderful time it looks like you had. Thanks for sharing.

I have been there too. What I like at Monkey Forrest is that the monkey are nice. They do not tend to steal our things like those in Sangeh or Uluwatu.

My glass was stolen by a monkey in Uluwatu. The guards managed to get it back, but the plastic frame was full of teeth marks. Worse is that the guards do not help unless you agree on the price they ask.
