For our place cards, we will be designing MOO MiniCards, which, as you may know from Mrs. Onion’s past post, are basically half the size of business cards, but you can have a different image on the back of each card. Images can be uploaded via Flickr (where I upload my pictures) or from your hard drive. 100 cards are $19.99 (plus $5 shipping), which is a pretty darn good deal I do believe. With a simple drag & drop option, you can crop your photos and voila, customized place cards for your guests!

I have tons and tons of photos of my side of the family and friends, so it won’t be a problem finding a unique image for each guest, but for those long-distance relatives that we haven’t seen since we were toddlers, I figured I could use photos of Mr. Candy Corn and I together or cute childhood photos of us.

On the back of the card, photographers have the option of listing their photography details, but we’ll be listing the name of the guest along with their table number. Since you can also upload your own icon for the back of each card, we’ll be uploading an image for the chicken entree and vegetarian entree, so our caterer will know who is eating what. We can even customize the font and font color on the back of the cards, which is a great way to make them even more personal. I can’t wait until we send out our invites and start to (hopefully) receive our RSVPs, so I can begin to design them.

The MOO cards will be held in the silver wedding cake place card holders I purchased from Party City many moons ago when I was bored on my lunch break. Normally these bad boys go for $2, but I snagged them for 50 cents a piece (hooray to the discount bins!).

Is anyone else incorporating MOO products in their wedding?

I love the mini moo cards too and wanted to find some way to incorporate them into the wedding. I think I’m going to make regular place cards and then place a photo share insructions on the inside like Miss CB and also a mini moo card with one of our e-pics for decoration.

I made little moo cards with a picture of an old London cab on the back and then put local taxi numbers on the back of the card for guests. I’m going to put them in the welcome bags. I think it’s a good idea because they’re perfectly wallet sized.

This is adorable! I bought moo cards for my etsy business and love them. One word of advice though, the company is based in the UK and it can take a few WEEKS for the cards to get to you. So, if you have those RSVP stragglers who don’t let you know until a week or two before, you might run into some trouble. You could always hand-write their name in though if worse came to worse.

I love Moo! I totally wanted to do use them to make little calendar stickers to go along with our invitations but I ran out of time. :(
So excited to see what you come up with! I’m sure it will be awesome. :)

our moos have photos from the two locations where we met: college and a bowling alley. and on the back we’re listing our donation to charity. these are going to be attached to a small bag of mints for each guest.

We used them for our save the dates, with a picture of our venue (the Cambridge (UK!) College we both attended) in the snow on the front (we’re getting married in summer, but they went in the Christmas cards. I did think about using them for place cards, like Miss CC, but with 120 or so guests I figured finding a picture of each of them would be too hard (and a bit tricky to find on the tables). I might (but we’ve only got 3 weeks to go) use them for the photo sharing instructions.

I’ve been reading Weddingbee for weeks/months and not commented until this week - and both on Moo related posts! I don’t work for them, it’s just that the cards are so cute.

@turtle: great idea, turtle! I think I’m going to have to steal that one. =)

I was planning on using them to spread the word about uploading pictures to our flickr account.

moo cards are great! we got some of the mini cards before and were really impressed by the quality of the cardstock. the image quality isnt “the best” but its a really nice product overall.

we are going to use moo cards for our favors. one side will have a random picture of us and the other will have a message from us. im really excited about these!

OH, i love that idea! I really want to incorporate a lot of photos into my wedding, so i think this would really work well for our placecards. I plan to hang them up using tiny little pegs on pieces of ribbon like this

oh man, I love me some mini moo cards! using them as place cards or escort cards is a great idea! I was thinking of using them as save-the-dates, but I have no idea how I would mail them. do you mail them out in itty-bitty envelopes, or do you mail them with a regular-sized save-the-date card?

I love MOO mini cards. We ordered some with a picture of our dog, Remy, with a ‘Thank You’ Sign around his neck and stuck those on the very back page of our ceremony programs. It was completely a last minute idea, but it turned out great!

I added a moo card with the “you may kiss the bride” smooch photo to my thank you notes with links to my wedding photos on flickr.

@miss candycorn - How are you doing the text on the backs of your cards? Are you adding it on afterwards? As far as I can tell, the text on the back is the same for each card.

Also, a tip for everyone - before paying, do a search for moo coupons - I found a 25% off one that works!
