Penguins in Motion Part 3

June 14th, 2008 @ 4:36 pm by Mrs. Penguin

Enter the new Mr. and Mrs. Penguin! We felt like the time allotted for our wedding (the reception was from 6:30 until 10) was so short that we sped everything along by immediately dancing our first dance and then cutting the cake before eating dinner.

I have to admit…our first dance was painfully awkward. Mr. Penguin noted earlier in the week that he wasn’t comfortable dancing to a WHOLE song all by our lonesome, to which I noted that 3 minutes of a dance with his new wife wouldn’t kill him. Well, it practically killed him. And, quite frankly, almost killed me too. Sadly, we could not revel in the moment, because 116 eyes were all on us, so we had the DJ fade the music about half way through, which was nice. It’s too painful for me even to watch now, so you’ll have to wait for the still pictures to come out to watch that one. But the cake was delish!

Brilliant! I love the look of concentration on your face as you’re trying to figure out how to cut it! It seems that cake cutting is not as easy as it looks, I’ve never seen anyone do it without any difficulty!

You look gorgeous. This is the fist of your video clips I’ve looked at and I’m going to go back and watch the rest now!

You look really lovely!

aw… sorry you didn’t like the first dance! it’s something I’m a bit worried about myself, since the Boy isn’t much of a slow dancer. eeps!

yall are too cute! all the details of your wedding look so perfect!!

hehe we were nervous that our whole first dance song would be too long too, so halfway through, we had the groomsmen join in and do some impromptu randomly silly dance moves around us while we continued to dance…it was awkward and random but great at the same time haha.

can’t wait to see all your pics! i love all these videos!
