Erin and Jeff, The Finale

June 16th, 2008 @ 2:40 pm by Mrs. Peacock

I know that I have been talking a lot about Erin’s wedding, almost as if it were my own. I can’t help it! I am so excited for them. We spent almost two years planning together. It was so exciting to see all the details that we had spent hours discussing come together. And now, the grand finale… the pro pics.

Erin and I share many things. Chatty mothers named Diane (although mine is a Dianne). A love for a day in the sun with a margarita. Catholicism. Our hair dresser. The occasional “going out” top. The list goes on, but lately we have shared one very important thing- our photographer. Dean Thorsen has impressed us more and more with every wedding, and he totally blew me away with these beauties.

The Belden Stratford in Lincoln Park. It was pretty and comfortable, but the customer service was severely lacking.

Kelly, Erin’s sister and MOH, helps with her earrings

Yup, I’m a bride!

Aren’t her eyes amazing?!

They had just seen each other for the first time. Jeff can’t keep his hands off her!

Erin LOVED her Kate Spade shoes

The wind calms down for a quick shot with the bridesmaids

OMG! We’re freaking married!

Erin’s dad welcomes the crowd. Per usual, he was goofy, loving and thoughtful all at the same time.

Kelly toasts the happy couple. Erin is trying to keep herself from making the ugly cry face.

Me and Mr. Peacock. I am singing “At Last” to him… poorly.

Dean did such a great job capturing their personalities. That picture of them walking down the aisle after saying their vows is absolutely perfect. I hope you enjoyed their love story as much as I did!

Do you find yourself getting just as excited about some of your friends’ weddings as your own?

My cousin just got married; you might have thought I was the wedding photographer as I took so many pictures!

miss peacock — just read this post - and read through your other posts about Erin’s wedding - she and her bridesmaid Sarah were my sorority sisters in college! the pics are beautiful, as is Erin. What a small world!

What a beautiful wedding! And I have to add that you look *gorgeous*. Your hair looks amazing! Who did it?

Our wedding was the first of the summer, but now we have a whole slew of them in the months to come. I’m so excited to go to my friends’ wedding and relax and have a great time :)

Two of my best friends on the planet are marrying each other in less than two weeks. I am so excited I can’t stand it - I think I’ve worried more about my hair/makeup/shoes/figure for being their bridesmaid than I did for my own wedding, so I totally feel you on this. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for making me feel like less of a wedding nerd! :-D

May I ask where she got her dress or what designer it’s from?? It’s so beautiful and pretty darn close to what I am looking for!

@elgirl: That is too funny! I will make sure Erin sees your comment when she gets back from her honeymoon.
@Mrs. Jasmine: Livia Caporale. She ruled! I know you were busy getting married in LA, but the wind was CRAZY here that day. Somehow, it still looked pretty darn good by the end of the night!
@LeAnn: It is Medellin by La Sposa.

Miss Peacock — you are gorgeous! Your hair in particular looked great! The wedding looked just beautiful — I love her shoes as well, and the colors were so fun :)

Miss Peacock,

Who made Erin’s dress?? I’m trying to find v-neck dresses and they’re SO hard to come by.

Thanks!

I am this close to booking my wedding at the Morton Arboretum. I think it is so so beautiful but I am nervous about the food. I hate the idea of not picking an outside caterer! How was it? What did they serve at Erin’s wedding. Thank you so much for your info. It is really hard to find reviews online.
