About Mrs. Gingerbread

I’ve previously complained about having a hard time finding photographers who are comfortable shooting same-sex weddings. I’ve also had photographers ask me what they can do to show same-sex couples that they are interested in working with them/us. Well, Bay Area based photographer Jessamyn Harris, who is hoping to expand her portfolio to include same-sex couples, thought of a great way to show her support and excitement for same-sex marriages in California. She is having a wedding photography giveaway to celebrate same-sex marriage! The contest is open to any couple getting married at SF City Hall in July, August or September. Head over to her blog for details on how to enter!

Wow, I just got lost on her blog for a really long time - but I may have found the album I’ve been searching for!

Some couple will be lucky to win her services!

Hi Miss.Gingerbread,

I’m a weddingbee addict and bride to be myself. I live in SF and am starting my own wedding planning business (with a eco twist) and recently got ordained by the Universal Life Church so I could officiate weddings. I have been offering my services free of charge to same-sex couples here as I feel VERY strongly in support of any kind of marriage of two people in love. If you know anyone in California that would be interested or if you’d like to post about it sometime - I would be so happy to help more people declare their love!
