Too Many Coconuts

June 23rd, 2008 @ 4:41 pm by Mrs. Coconut

My apologies for the week long absence. Lots of things have prevented me from blogging, namely the absence of internet as a result of relocating. The Coconuts should be wired today, so I’ll be back in full blogging force in no time!

As a break from all the wedding planning though, I wanted to talk about how crazy my life is! Or better yet, how crazy life is for ALL brides-to-be. Why is it when you decide to get married, lots of other things happen, too? I know, some of you may be thinking, “That’s just life.” Admittedly, yes life involves many decisions, but let me give you a preview of Miss Coconut’s life in the year 2008.

1. Six weddings to attend (2 of which require flying)
2. Graduating from law school
3. Studying and taking the bar exam in July
4. Moving in June to a temporary apartment (happened last week)
5. Sister Coconut’s wedding on July 5th (happening in 2 weeks!)
6. Buying a house in August-September
7. Bridesmaid in Michigan wedding in October
8. Coconuts’ wedding in November

Now really, is this just life? I’d like to give it another name…MADNESS! However, I don’t think I would have it any other way! I feel so fortunate to study for the bar exam, to witness my sister’s and friends’ marriages, and to get married myself all in the same year! The only unfortunate thing is that 2009 is going to be B*O*R*I*N*G! ;)

Sorry for the total post fake-out, I promise to have fully interesting posts coming up!

Whoa, you just described my life story: graduated from law school in the last year; took two bar exams (last July and this February, passed both); moved twice, including purchasing a house; sister getting married this July out of town; eight other weddings this year, three of which I’m in and my own wedding in October!
Life is hectic, but I totally agree - what are we going to do next year?!
Best of luck on the bar exam.

@Jessica: Whoa, are we living the same life?!? Maybe we should start a business next year on top of being lawyers, eh? ;)

Whoa, your life is totally coco-NUTS!

Brava for holding it all together. Perhaps the soothing power of Pina Coladas is involved?? ;)
