About Me: I’m a Gemini to the extreme. On one side, I’m a girly girl. I read countless bridal and fashion magazines, and have an obsession with keeping up with the latest Hollywood gossip. On the other side, I’m a sports fanatic. Despite being a full-time bride-to be, full-time research assistant, and part-time student, I’m also a full-time Red Sox fan from spring training to October, and a full-time Patriots fan from mini-camp to February. I devote almost as much time researching my for fantasy football team as researching for our wedding!
Back to Life, Back to Reality

Yay, I’m back!! I’ve missed you all! 
The last two weeks have been like a fairytale. So fairytale like, that even after 2 weeks, it’s still hard to believe that we’re married! I mean there’s the obvious changes, like this…
A Mrs!

(it’s not official until it’s all over the internet right?) 
And the fact that I get to wear this now…
eee! I was so excited to put that band on my finger!
Despite these “obvious” signs of marriage, it’s still hard to believe that June 7, 2008 happened. Perhaps because the last two weeks have been out of a story book, we haven’t had time to really feel married.
As much fun as our honeymoon was, we both were so ready to come home. It’s not that we didn’t have a good time - we did. After all I did get to eat gelato EVERY DAY!
um…yum!!
About half way through our honeymoon, Mr. Toucan started counting down the days until we returned home. It actually got me worried that he wasn’t enjoying our honeymoon. He quickly explained to me, that the honeymoon was fun and all, but it was once we got back home if when our life together truly started.
If that doesn’t make a girl cry, I don’t know what does! He’s right though. Now that we’re back from our fairy tale, we can really really start our life together. I couldn’t be happier!
I think I want to wait for the pro-pictures to come in before I tell you everything about the big day. I’ll be posting about a few projects and vendors that I hadn’t had time to write about before the big day (there’s another sneak peek of our wedding in the screen shot of my facebook profile!), and of course I’ll post about our honeymoon too!
I’m so excited to be back, and look forward to sharing more with you all soon!

MRS. Toucan (yea, congrats!) I want to hear all about ITALIA, as Mr. MagPie and I are planning to honeymoon there in September 2009. Any good tips for me? Feel free to pm/email me, and know I’d really appreciate your tips, guidance, insight, etc.
Oh, and wow, how cute is your husband? You’re a lucky lady that he’s counting down a dream vacation in Italy to come home and play house with little old you!
welcome back mrs. toucan! and can i say that eating gelato everyday is a wonderful thing? i’d love to be able to do that. without the pint, that is. lol.
Four years ago, I was in Italy for 16 days and I too had gelato everyday. And sometimes twice a day. My excuse was that it was hot and I needed it to keep me cool.
Looks like you had a great time. Can’t wait to see the pictures!
