Hello Weddingbee family!! I am so incredibly excited to be a new member of the hive! I seriously was jumping up and down, flailing my arms around in the air, for I don’t know how long! I chose the character Miss Espresso because I absolutely love a cup of strong, black espresso or coffee. One of my greatest bargain finds was an espresso/ coffee maker at a garage sale for $5! Oh so happy that day! Sometimes my friends get jealous of the relationship I share with coffee and they do strange things. See Exhibit A for example.
As for Mr. Espresso and I, we’re young, silly, and high school sweethearts. We met freshman year of high school when I was the new girl and he was 4-5 inches shorter than me (now it’s the opposite!). I instantly was drawn to his prankster personality and gorgeous blue eyes… plus he was the sweetest guy I had ever met. He had his mom drive him to the mall so he could surprise me with Tommy Girl perfume- awwhh young love haha. After he told me he loved me, I broke it off and we went back to being awkward friends. (Sounds heartless writing that- but we were young and I just didn’t’ want anything serious). Junior year however, I didn’t care. I wanted him, and he wanted nothing more than being my friend. Mr. Espresso even came over all the time, but to hang out with my brother! Here’s where Miss Espresso started to get a little jealous of the Xbox time he was spending with brother Espresso. So I checked my pride at the door and told him I wanted to be his girlfriend. That’s right- maybe a little forward, but we’ve been together for 6 years now and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
We’re 3 months and 1 week away from the Big Day in October! We’re planning a budget friendly wedding for 170 guests… sounds like a reality show in the making right? I can’t wait to share all of the details thus far and hear your ideas and input. I’ve had so much fun planning this and now being given the chance to share it with you is just over the top! Stay tuned for DIY projects, bargain hunting, vendor descriptions, our engagement story, and every other piece of info I can squeeze in here!
