Fabulous Etsy Finds!

June 30th, 2008 @ 3:30 pm by Mrs. Coconut

You know I love etsy, so let me share some of the things I’ve bought on there!

As many brides do, I’m fiddling around with the idea of doing a candy buffet. Now, this idea has sort of transformed into a popcorn or cookie buffet, but this sign would still apply. I regularly browse etsy, saw this sign, and loved it. I bought the sign from etsy seller OrangeBeautiful.

I think it’s important to have lots of personal DIY touches in our wedding, but hey, sometimes a girl needs some professional help, right? ;)

What are your favorite etsy wedding finds?

Rather than getting each of the girls the same necklace, I’m getting 5 different pendants that suits each personality. I know that if they were all the same, there would be at least one who wouldn’t wear it ever again. I have 4 down and 1 more to go!

Here they are:

All of the sellers have been wonderful and I’ve been able to slightly customize each one in terms of chain length and whether it’s gold or silver.

you’ve set my brain aswirl with a cookie bar. i could bake them and freeze them ahead of time. he hates cake, and loves cookies. i would save money.

i have no idea why this has never crossed my mind before, but thank you. and the sign is adorable! i’m all for diy-looking goods.

I was going to use this seller for BM gifts but then I decided to DIY myself rather than letting others do it for me (plus knitting is proving to be really really cathartic these days!). But I did get a birthday bracelet for my MOH from this seller.

All of her stuff is entirely customizeable, so you’re only really limited by your imagination (or really places in the world or words in the dictionary :D )

I love Courtney Courtney for flower girl and ring bearer presents (most of the stuff she posts is for girls, but she will do pieces for boys on request). http:courtneycourtney.etsy.com

I’m actually planning a very etsy-fied wedding! It’s been one of my favorite shopping sites for as long as it’s existed, so of course, it was the first place I looked for our wedding bits and pieces:
-my wedding necklace
-my wedding dress shrug (outside wedding on Nov 1)
-our wedding cupcake toppers (vintage children’s book)
-our thank you cards
-my brown satin headband
-mini flower corsages for the moms
-decorative labels for candy jars
-my wedding snap-purse/clutch AND
-custom made wedding stamp (to use all over!)
