About Me: Somehow this little farm girl found herself a genuine Pole to fall in love and eventually move away to Poland with. I am an LDS (Latter Day Saints) bride attempting to plan a private religious ceremony, ring ceremony, seated reception for 100, and an open house while coordinating for guests flying in from across the United States and as far away as Poland. I try to avoid fads, excess waste, and saturated fat. I strongly endorse photography, DDR, calorie counting, rss feeds, cooking, and utilizing your resources.

@Miss Shortcake: I’m actually currently living in Dallas, but will be moving back home to Central WA to finish up the planning. I don’t think that Mr. Avocado and I will be living in Poland for another 5 years or so.

My best friend is LDS! I only got to go to the reception (since I am not LDS) but I heard the sealing was beautiful. Is the Mr. also LDS and will you be marrying in the temple?

@Mrs. Bee: YAY! I love hearing about different ceremonies… although I know LDS ceremonies are very private, I’m interested in the ring ceremony and any other LDS traditions you can share!

I am SO glad that there is an LDS Bee! I’m nearly engaged AND my lover lives in Seattle! (Although I’m in San Diego so that’s the temple we’ll be married in.) I’m so excited to learn about your wedding because we’ve got not just religion in common, but also long distance and our ages! PLUS I love me some avocado.
