My Non-Bridal Clutch

July 1st, 2008 @ 3:35 pm by Mrs. Coconut

Continuing with all things Etsy, I present to you my lovely bridal clutch. I originally bought something that was all bridal and quite beautiful, but as our wedding started to take shape, I felt the original was too fancy. My sister will be using it for her wedding this weekend!

This clutch is amazing because it’s huge and I can use it again! My heart flutters every time I look at it. I bought it from Etsy seller BlueOrchidBags.

Has anyone else gone with something a little less bridal for their accessories?

I got a fuchsia Steve Madden clutch for the big day to match my pink shoes… although I’m still undecided on which shoes to actually wear. I also have a pair of the “traditional” ivory.

Actually I got mine this weekend while vacationing. My fiance drug me into a sunglass hut to profess his never ending love of Raybans (which I was adamently refusing him) when I spotted an ivory pleated satin sunglass case. Not only does it look like a fab coin purse- it was on clearance for a $1.07 (Score!) Needless to say I have a bridal clutch… and my fiance has a brand new pair of Raybans :)

Ooooh I love it! You’re making me want one….can hardly resist temptation! I love that you can re-use it again and again (and again!) after the wedding :)

I too got my wedding day clutch from Etsy, but it’s what looks like a large chain purse with a silver snapping top. And it’s bright blue/turquoise with pink flowers. Very festive!
